    THE TRAVELLING COELIAC
amazing gluten free foods from around the world.

Welcome to the Travelling Coeliac

Hi, I'm Megan, I'm 22 and I have recently been diagnosed with the dreaded coeliac disease. As a massive food lover, especially of cake this came as a huge blow. But it's not all over, this auto immune disease can take a step back as I have discovered and am still discovering amazing gluten free foods from many different cultures all around the world.

I fell in love with travelling a few years back after visiting Asia, I couldn't get enough of the culture, the people and of course the food. Since being diagnosed I thought that meant the end of that, I struggled to find advice and help from real people who have experienced places first hand. This is hopefully where my blog will change that.

I will be writing reviews on restaurants I have visited within the UK and around the world as I travel. Recommending the best places to eat, that are safe and full of variety for us coeliacs. It will also include the best places to visit when in different cities and countries.

I hope to bring us coeliacs and travellers together as one to make sure all our travels and holidays will be remembered for the good and we will not let our auto-immune disease stop us, screw you gluten.
